Our Products
Sugarcane Leaf Pellets
Sugarcane leaf pellets are a relatively new biomass residue from Southeast Asia. In the past, this material was often burned in the field; today it is harvested and processed into high-quality pellets. We as EP Biomass, are one of the first suppliers to make sugarcane leaf pellets available in the European market. It can be used in multiple sectors, such as animal bedding, feed, biogas, heating and carbonisation.
Rice Husk Pellets
Rice husk pellets are produced from rice husks, an abundant by-product of the the rice milling industry. The husks are collected, dried and pelletised into a solid, uniform biofuel. These pellets offer consistent quality and are widely used as a versatile biomass fuel within existing industrial chains.
Sugarcane Bagasse Pellets
Sugarcane bagasse pellets are made from the fibrous residue that remains after sugarcane crushing. Bagasse is a stable and homogeneous biomass resource. Sugarcane Bagasse can be used in various applications, such as feed, biogas, heating and the production industry.
Sunflower Husk Pellets
Sunflower husk pellets are a byproduct of sunflower seed processing for oil and feed. After separation, the husks are processed into a stable, compact biomass fuel. Their broad availability has made sunflower husk pellets a well-established option in many industrial supply chains.
Olive Pits
Olive pits originate from the mechanical processing of olives during oil production. After the olives are pressed, the solid fraction is separated and the pits are recovered, cleaned and dried into a stable, uniform grade. Thanks to their natural hardness and stable composition, olive pits provide a versatile solid biomass fuel suitable for energy, heat and process-heat applications, while also serving as a high quality feedstock for further carbonisation.
Macadamia Shell (Charcoal)
Macadamia shell is an excellent raw material for producing high quality charcoal, which in turn serves as an outstanding feedstock for the activated carbon production. It is considered as an perfect alternative to coconut shells.
Coconut Shell (Charcoal)
Coconut shell is widely recognised as one of the best natural feedstocks for charcoal, which in turn serves as an outstanding feedstock for the activated carbon production. Through our sourcing network, we also source beyond the traditional origin countries, expanding into additional regions to secure better availability and a broader range of high-quality suppliers
Biochar
We supply various feedstocks suitable for biochar production. Biochar is a carbon-rich material created through pyrolysis, where organic residues are heated without oxygen. This process stabilises carbon, enabling long-term CO₂ storage while improving soil structure through its porous composition. Biochar is widely used in agriculture, climate projects and industrial processes.
Extended biomass solutions
Our current portfolio is built around these core streams. Beyond these, our international network allows us to source a wide variety of biomass materials, ranging from raw agricultural residues to charcoal, biochar and other specialised biomass products, fully tailored to the specific needs of our customers.
